Here’s one problem crypto solves. I’m trying to buy something a young brother in Egypt made. Apparently there’s no PayPal there and he doesn’t do crypto. Using the bank is hard. And it’s expensive - the fee + the wire fee. And he doesn’t get the $$ for a few days. Crypto solves this.

How apropos that ETH Denver @ethdenver took place at The National Western Stock Show Complex. The stock show. Where caged animals (attendees) are paraded then herded to their eventual slaughter. But the land owners (Coinbase) and factory farms (VC’s)- make bank.

Chris Dixon @cdixon.eth is a self-avowed influencer. But the very definition of the word is antithetical to the core tenets of crypto and blockchain. Why is the crypto industry handing so much or any control to one man? And why isn’t anyone writing about this?

I was escorted out from @ethdenver for a peaceful act of protest against Caitlin Long and RFK Jr. Two in the audience threatened me with violence. My pass was confiscated, told I’m banned from future ETH Denver events. Someone please tell ETH Denver that Bitcoin is a peaceful act of protest against censorship.

I’m no Elizabeth Warren fan. I’m a fan of truth. Warren was instrumental in the creation of The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB). The CFPB isn’t a panacea. But it has saved consumers from predatory banking practices. I know, I was there. @ethdenver turned its back on consumers tonight. Shameful.

Tonight during John Deaton’s pitch at @ethdenver he went Horatio Alger on the audience, spinning a tale of making it without help. Then literally a minute later he asks the audience for donations! Deaton has no dignity. He’s a sick sack of shit. ETH Denver owes their patrons an apology for allowing this grift.

Tonight at @ethdenver John Eaton put on a shocking display of pandering to @ethdenver patrons. In my view Deaton’s charade was insulting to patrons who paid hard earned money to attend. Also. ETH Denver has a no refund policy. I can see why. So they can operate with impunity.
