They will mint it because they see future value in it and every mint automatically gives them the ability to earn.

That’s a great point,people need more than just "liking" something to engage consistently. The ability to earn or see future value is a powerful motivator. How do you suggest they implement something like on zora tho

The way the the platform is designed is basically a social on-chain app

The best part is you can do both.

What I'm saying is everyone seems skeptical on people minting for fun at scale (which I agree with) but there will always be a smaller cohort of people that do it because they genuinely enjoy it.

Both are positive sum IMO

i don't think that should be a certain statement imo

speculation plays a big part but i like to collect things just to collect, bc i actually get to own it rather than right click save, there is value in that

i also do like to speculate too ofc (i'm a degen) but not in every scenario
