The most powerful part of Frames is that you can do onchain transactions without leaving the feed. Buttons should make transactions - not take you off the page to make a transaction somewhere else.

Frames as embedded apps in a social feed are a major unlock Been waiting for lens to drop open actions. Super complex. New protocol. Meanwhile Farcaster builds on existing social protocol by FB / Twitter & gets massive adoption in first 7 days

You can’t securely sign arbitrary data with a frame, so there are limits (at least at the moment…)

How do we protect users from rugs? You could easily build a frame that looks like coming from someone you know but leads you to a malicious smart contract.

I think there's only so much you can do with a FID-powered signature. Ie, I don't WANT to be able to spend actual crypto from my wallet within a frame. Do I? 123 $DEGEN for the thought train

The beauty is how Frames adds value for both consumer and creator. Business might want to drive traffic to their site but people like options and convenience. An instant action button ie ‘Subscribe’, alongside a ‘Visit’ or ‘Read More’ provides value for all 👍
