x-posting to reach more farcaster users Hi friends! I launched a new project tonight. You should check it out: higherrrrrrr.fun I made a pretty big mistake where I didn't realize there was a DAO here with a similar name and branding. No bad intention. When you name something higher, you are kind of boxed in when it comes to branding. It's just me basically and some friends, we're not VC backed. Just trying to create a new fun paradigm of memes. I just bought a bunch of $higher. The product is an exchange for a new type of token. Also there are no VCs involved, so I can kind of do whatever I want. What I was going to do as an apology: pledge 10% of fees to a buy / burn program for up to 6.9% of supply. I'll burn $HIGHER so we can all go higherrrrrrr together. It might be a complete flop, such is building, so I can fully promise that this would work since I don't know what the revenue would be. I fucked up, and I'm sorry.

Weird feature request for chatGPT: make it super easy to copy and paste code. Don’t comment out sections “the rest of your nav goes here” just write the entire thing so I can put it in my codebase quickly

My guess is most crypto VCs would choose to be non crypto VCs (who also happen to choose to do some crypto deals), if they could. A lot are locked into 2021 / 2022 fundraises with 10 year fund time horizons. There's \ no choice but to deploy into airdrops / tokens, and the one's who's LPAs allow otherwise have pivoted

Being a *good* VC is one of the hardest jobs right now. The market has evolved in a way that's perfectly competitive (money is money). High beta, asymmetric deals are hard to come by, entrepreneurs need less money to build their businesses, and there's more money than ever chasing deals that could return the fund.

Here's an idea, L2 with "prepaid transactions" where all of the fees happen at *onboarding*, otherwise transactions are free. This was you can onboard your farcaster address and then send transactions directly from frames without having to involve an external wallet. Opens up the design space for useful apps a lot

Pretty convinced right now is the best time ever in history to be a developer. So many major platform shifts converging: - AR / VR - AI - Crypto starting to be scalable I literally don't have enough time in the day to build all of the stuff I want to build
