Very impressed by the new @base Names product.

Custom profile to add all my other social links along with onchain credentials to earn for key actions.

Increasingly believe that onchain usernames that show what we hold in our wallet is going to be more valuable than how many followers we have etc.

Great initiative and can't wait for it to be live to the public for everyone to try!

Positives:

- Tremendous coordination and planning from the @base team and more specifically Concierge who made the whole trip planning a breeze
- @jessepollak public speaking game is A+ - one of the strongest voices from a chain founder I've seen.
- Very strong sense of community which I haven't felt in a while
- Tons of familiar faces from Farcaster - almost making it feel like an extension of Farcon
- Playing basketball was a huge highlight and great way to do something not specifically crypto-related
- Had a blast running a small afterparty with the /djs crew
- Fest location was super impressive (shoutout FWB and Refraction here)

Critiques:

- Too many people. Difficult to meet new people cause everything was very free flow.
- Not enough new people. Felt like a lot of the same people from other conferences.
- Didn't leave with any new "alpha" on new projects or tokens to trade.

Very thankful for the experience and would definitely attend next year!
