The biggest challenge for onchain media is not actually getting the media/content onchain. It's getting people to want to pay for it in a way that makes it sustainable for the platforms and curators bringing the content onchain to scale. We have more demand than ever to put new music on @cooprecs - but we're limited by the total addressable size of people in crypto that have an interest in paying for it

is the biggest problem the fact that most consume music via streaming, e..g spotify/apple music? the idea of paying for music, has gone into a subscription, that is now up to the platform, to distribute fees?

Correct the idea of paying for music on a song by song basis is very foreign to people and most of their current needs are met with a Spotify subscription We're going after people who want to double down on being early and are willing to put money behind that belief to prove it to their friends

why not run back "Top Shot" with digital collectibles from the tour with different rarities etc top shot suffered due to excessive supply etc. would there be a way to make the "experience" / collectible easily showcased - say FC NFT tab that used to exist where folks could curate their collection. maybe that's what your doing with cooprecords. maybe start with the bands that collabed with stand with crypto

kind of like re-creating the discovery of going to gigs. like finding the ad for taylor swift's gig, long before she became who she is today. i reckon thats a market, but maybe not fully baked into the trading world of crypto (yet). more culture!
