The biggest challenge for onchain media is not actually getting the media/content onchain. It's getting people to want to pay for it in a way that makes it sustainable for the platforms and curators bringing the content onchain to scale. We have more demand than ever to put new music on @cooprecs - but we're limited by the total addressable size of people in crypto that have an interest in paying for it

yes! creators want distribution and audiences and true fans, sometimes as much as if not more than $$

is the biggest problem the fact that most consume music via streaming, e..g spotify/apple music? the idea of paying for music, has gone into a subscription, that is now up to the platform, to distribute fees?

I feel like the issue is there is no āappā or āfront endā or whatever basically there is no Spotify for people to listen to the music they buy onchain. You donāt go to your wallet to listen to music. Until that can be played on everyoneās favorite app I dunno how it scales huge.
