I notice a lot of people lately (myself included) always trying to find the new thing. But what if the new thing is not rushing to find something new but consistently building around principles that already exist… Trusting that with time these concepts will get easier to access and digest. There are no shortcuts.

it's a good take... prioritization means saying no to things, often things you want but time spent chasing shiny objects is time not spent on other priorities trying to be more intentional with my time every day

Building around principles that already exists allows for compounding. Definitely not a new thing, but extremely powerful.

Old ideas in new platforms. Or paraphrasing Rick Rubin related to acient wisdom: easier to trust something proven over and over than something that just came out and seems true.

Sometimes, it's better to simply hold your favorite things and keep on going the same path rather than constantly choosing a new road. Still, it's important to be flexible!
