Gelber Englischer Custard summer squash has been one of my fav squash varieties this summer. It has produced a good amount of fruit even through neglect on my part and nutrient deficiencies. Whatβs been one of your winners this season?

58 days for cocozelle? That's sooooo fast. Are you saving seeds?

I save some seeds, not usually squash because I have so many seeds laying around already. This year my focus has been collecting wildflower seeds for next year's desert project. Mainly poppy and lupine. I'll be taking a ton of cuttings with me of all my roses so I don't lose those in the move.

I want to hear more about the desert project! You're in Missoula, right? I actually have a lupine I could give you. A bunch of Egyptian walking onion bulbs as well. I'm in Bozeman.
