We have an independent member of our team that was not involved in a client relationship to send a survey at the end of a consulting engagement. In this way, we enable our clients to express candid feedback to a third party that they don't know, without them feeling constrained on what they can share.

Interview power users Try to figure out why they switched to your solution and why they are passionate about it, what it means to them emotionally validate they have a real need, not just a curiousity Validate we are solving their need

Indirect, via automated session recordings, metabase dashboards powered by user activity and one click targeted yay/nay email survey. Pattern analysis and dashboards would uncover exceptions we'd solve by watching session recordings and if not, get in touch with the user.
