"home page" customization tools. I'd love for a tag panel/filter so my audience can see the topics I write about at a glance and sort them easily. Maybe I have different series and want to show that up front

Good idea! We have this already but with somewhat half-baked UX. 

You can 'tag' individual posts, then add the 'tag' as a link to your navbar to view all tagged posts. You can see this in action here: https://paragraph.xyz/@web3academy/category/web3academypro
