For profit or pure pleasure? (I've tried the financial math every which way, and it doesn't seem to pencil for me - curious if you've found otherwise)

I haven’t run any numbers, so in this aspirational goal it’s just pure pleasure. Unfortunate to hear the financial angle isn’t there though

I'm sure some make it work, but it takes a certain scale and legit business vs a “gentleman’s farm” - type vineyard. There's lots of folks out there peddling vineyard estates (or fractionalized ownership schemes) as good investments, so be careful if/as you do dig deeper. I haven't fully given up on it though
