What's your experience with web3 messaging (MailChain, XMTP, etc?)

Curious to hear any real-life benefits you've experienced as a result of these protocols.

Eg contacted NFT owner for a sale? Unified inbox simplified your workflows? Etc.

Really interested in the ability to contact NFT owners for various reasons. How do you do that at this point so they actually receive it?

I don’t think you can at this point. Need large wallets to integrate, or some other introduction into mainstream usage

I think some wallets have experimented with integrating, but:
- How do you deal with spam?
- Receiving messages directly to the app where you keep all your money seems bad

Definitely think there should be a way to communicate with relevant people, e.g. your holders, but in a structured way, rather than chat

Makes sense. I’m sure it would seem spammy too. But also super useful for orgs (for DAO votes, NFT offers, merch, etc…)
