What's your experience with web3 messaging (MailChain, XMTP, etc?)

Curious to hear any real-life benefits you've experienced as a result of these protocols.

Eg contacted NFT owner for a sale? Unified inbox simplified your workflows? Etc.

Really interested in the ability to contact NFT owners for various reasons. How do you do that at this point so they actually receive it?

Genart collector. Tinkerer. Investor. Crypto maximalist. Nomadic traveler w/ my wife and 3 kids. Experimenting w/ evergreen content at /sydneys-place

Makes sense. I’m sure it would seem spammy too. But also super useful for orgs (for DAO votes, NFT offers, merch, etc…)

I don’t think you can at this point. Need large wallets to integrate, or some other introduction into mainstream usage

Hey @sydneyjason, this is a use case we see a lot, Tzkt integrated Mailchain mailto links: https://tzkt.io/tz1i6PZb7x1ahrgRMyBsz9UxeQiYBJSF3muo/operations/ into  profiles so you can reach out to NFT owners directly. The protocol also supports optimistic delivery for sending to an address that isn't registered yet

This assumes every single holder is part of the discord or TG, which I think is broadly not the case

Can't you reach them directly through the projects Discord or Tele community?
