Though we stand on the shoulders of giants, somebody decides to climb up. These are individuals. In steve jobs case maybe his superpower is motivating others and not inventing per se. I see many inventors and innovators in my day job. Individual ability is king. Not for all the innovators. But for many.

Ideation often happens in a team too. But like with innovation, some individuals are catalysts and some have broader shoulders

Would it be fair to say ideation happens in the individual, while innovation happens as a team?
