From the intro of Hayek’s The Constitution of Liberty, this bit makes a case against specialized “expertocracy” and arguably (though not intentionally) promotes a protocol-based P2P economics (an “impersonal mechanism” such as a P2P protocol):

Nice. And not only against “expertocracy” but if you stretch it also against big, centralized economic (fiscal, monetary) policy that follow human judgement
