Project complete ✅ Finished the last bag of 2 to contain all my sustenance for an upcoming bike trip. Food on top and water system with tube on the bottom. Will be great to keep the heaviest stuff central and low on the bike. Let’s gooo! Super excited to get this filled and battle tested.

turned out so good dude! this is an awesome build, perfect fit, great color, zippers horizontal on the frame 🤌 also that's an interesting setup with the bladder in the bottom and the hose clip on the top. can tell you really thought this out lol what was the most difficult part?

Biggest challenge was my sewing machine and getting good stitches without a ton of power, little clearance, and lots of variance in thickness of material. 4 layers of cordura is tough enough but adding webbing every few inches made sewing really difficult. I struggled a lot with getting good stitches on the back. Often the tension would drop and the thread would pill and knot on the side opposite the ‘foot’ and I’d pull it out and try again. I think that was just tough for machine to get right with thick, varying material and heavy duty polyester thread that doesn’t stretch much. Biggest takeaway is that I should have gone lighter on the internal panel reinforcement. Made it tough to construct and flip inside out. End result is far better than I expected. Very pleased. So nice to sew something inside out and just flip and have it hide the hard parts.
