One thing I have learned while reading X etc is that a lot of you were making multi millions of dollars while being told that you couldn't say "wife" you had to say "partner". It is causing a lot of reflection for me as to just how badly I fumbled the bag in the ZIRP era. This was not my experience. 

While you were all doing that, I worked for a decidedly non-woke guy at his bootstrapped startup. He gamely TOLERATED a lot of antics but it certainly never went that far. The company still bought podcast ads on Dan Bongino. 

Working there was the only acquisition even I have ever been a part of. Whole time this guy's like "we are selling this company and I am NOT LEAVING". The deal got done and he immediately was vapor. It was very confusing. Why did he leave?
