Is there any reason I shouldn’t copy all my old blogs from medium to paragraph?  Any pros/cons to think about?  Don’t really feel like self hosting, but that might change sometime in the future.

I hate Medium. They started out so nicely and now their entire platform has become unusable. Absolutely rescue your work from there.

🫡 I don’t find it unusable yet but I get no value from it except a database to store my words 🤷‍♀️

They're constantly prodding me to sign up or sign in, even for articles the author has made freely available. This just makes me not want to click on any Medium links.

And if I do sign up (which I did for a while to support one particular writer), I'm not signing up for a specific writer like on substack but for a general subscription. So I'm not even convinced my preferred writers are meaningfully compensated.
