Every time I walk past this retainer wall I feel a bit uncomfortable.

They literally just built the upper, paved part. Previously it was all grown over and hidden in a wooded area, so it was less obvious then, but it's impossible that they did all that cleanup and construction work and didn't notice the state of the retainer wall. Not sure what their plan is. If you look closely you can see that other parts have received reinforcement in the past, maybe they'll do more of that?

Is it public property? Can you call the municipal government about fixing it? That’s going to break eventually.
