Having implementation details leak into the user interface is one of my biggest pet peeves. I see this all the time with my students, who like to label data visualizations with the names of the variables they use in their code. "Yes you call it `fract_succss_tot` in your code but that's not an appropriate axis label."

And I realize this is just about a label on a graph, but the mindset is the same. Most technical people don't intuitively understand that they need to take the technology and translate it into concepts their audience can understand. That's also why many scientific talks so bad. 🤣
