There are so many people looking for PM roles that have never done PM work

Common peeps I see falling for this are ex Product Marketers, Community Managers, Strategy people (not a real title), and Project Managers who think that’s Product work

I often tell people the best way to become a PM is to do the job before you have the title. Get to know the user and their problems and start advocating/shipping something (anything) on their behalf. Could be in your co or via a side project.
