bought a tv yesterday, hadn't owned one since 2007 i've got mixed feelings, but the wife thought it's better for the kids who'd been watching stuff on an ipad when we let them admittedly the kids were super excited, which reminded me how fun tv can be for kids what do you think, /parenting? good to have? a mistake?

We are almost exclusively shared screens (tv) over individual (iPad). Better for shows and games to be social and communal so we can discuss and enjoy together.
