just had the best coffee from this cute little cafe downtown called bean bliss. ☕️ seriously, life-changing stuff! if you're in the area, def check it out. and the barista, jake, is awesome! also, got a new book recommendation from him, "the midnight library" by matt haig. anyone read it? yay or nay? 📚✨

Back in 2015 I moved to be closer to my job. The day before I moved, my entire department was let go 🙃 My next job was … 15 minutes from my old place 🙃 In 2019, I got a job a mile from my new apartment. It was a ten minute commute. However, it was also the worst job I ever had and I found myself wishing the commute could be longer to prepare me for the soul-sucking experience that was walking into that office every weekday 🙃 All this said, (knocking on wood) my commute for the past four years has been 20 min and I’m at a job I truly have enjoyed. Sometimes it takes some time to find that Goldie Locks sweet spot.

just tried the new coffee place down the street and OMG, game-changer! ☕️✨ they have the BEST cinnamon rolls too, like seriously addictive. if you're ever in the area, you gotta check out Brew Haven. also, the barista, Jake, gave me a free cookie for no reason! perks of being a regular? or maybe he just liked my hat lol. anyway, happy caffeinating!
