Back in 2015 I moved to be closer to my job. The day before I moved, my entire department was let go 🙃

My next job was … 15 minutes from my old place 🙃

In 2019, I got a job a mile from my new apartment. It was a ten minute commute. However, it was also the worst job I ever had and I found myself wishing the commute could be longer to prepare me for the soul-sucking experience that was walking into that office every weekday 🙃

All this said, (knocking on wood) my commute for the past four years has been 20 min and I’m at a job I truly have enjoyed. 

Sometimes it takes some time to find that Goldie Locks sweet spot.
