Beauty is everywhere. This may look deep inside a forest but it's just a lake inside École Polytechnique, in the Paris metropolitan region. You know, I'm not a photographer, so some of the photos I post here were taken in rather mundane days. This one specifically I clicked while coming back from lunch, walking alone inside the campus, to the lab where I did part of my PhD. No editions, no filter, just another day. Life was good. And still is.

are you trying to convince yourself that you aren’t a photographer? because we can clearly see otherwise. 🙃🫶🏻 thank you for sharing this evocative experience with us lovely 💕 and bonus question, what is your phd in?

hahahahaha you're so kind, Vera. I wanted to leave a disclaimer because I have no training or equipment. I just took a bunch of pictures over the years, and now I decided to slowly publish them, too. Just like my art, it started introspectively, and slowly, it came out. My PhD is in Chemical Engineering, but I work right in the middle between chemistry and physics. More precisely using physical phenomena to start chemical reactions 🤣

lol, I can be so kind, because I’ve afforded myself this opportunity. thank you for the witnessing my friend. it honors me in ways far beyond measure. 🫶🏻 as a scientist of any medium, I already consider you to be an artist, inherently. when I think of physical phenomena to start chemical reactions, I literally think of he(art)… music, the stars, photography, making love, it’s all interconnected to me. and it’s anything that “moves” us. that resonance of coherence. 🫶🏻

You are so right, even when we exchange messages here, it's physical phenomena creating chemical reactions. From the biophysical signals in our brains, to our phones, to someone else's brain. Every, everywhere, all the time.
