I am from Bangladesh 
Here is a funny Bangladeshi saying:
"অতি চালাকের গলায় দড়ি" (Oti chalaker golay dori)
This translates to The rope is around the neck of the overly clever person. It's a humorous way of saying that those who think they are too clever or try to outsmart everyone else will eventually get themselves into trouble. It's a bit like the English saying Too clever by half.

I am not trying to give an image of a fairytale, perfect, everything else,I am just being myself.
