Anyone else noticing the U.S. increasingly geo-fenced completely out of crypto? The land of the free won't allow its citizens to access airdrops because what - free money is scary? Imagine if the U.S. geo-blocked itself from the internet in the 90s. Truly the dumbest timeline.

From the outside looking in, the U.S. regulatory stance feels like a blend of caution aimed at maintaining financial stability, with little consideration for what fosters financial growth. If the U.S looses the lead in tech, what is left ?

It's mostly just the entrenched final interests feeling threatened, IMO. The US financial industry is a bloated rent-seeking behemoth that will do anything to preserve its control & profits. It's no surprise they wield considerable influence over governmental entities like the SEC.
