A boost gives your account more distribution for 24 hours. Each day, we'll give out 10 boosts to accounts that: 

- Have < 10k followers 
- Have casted recently 
- Have not received a boost recently
- Post bangers (manual judgement)

<10k followers also includes <1k followers lol

Also includes everyone over 1k and up to 10k, which dilutes those under 1k. It's a larger pool essentially.

Unless I've fucked up the maths, of course, which is perfectly possible!

my guess is there aren’t enough folks in that tranche that would dilute the pool enough, anyways.

the population of folks here is bimodal: a lot of activity >50,000 and <10,000 at equal weight, but not much in between or at the tail

Hopefully you're right and some of the smaller accounts under 1k start getting a bit more visibility.
