don’t think you can buy L2 USDC or Base ETH via Coinbase, you have to bridge or L2 swap to get it

You can buy USDC or ETH on Coinbase (no specific network) and send them to your wallet on Base (or many other L2s).

yep — thinking i can only support Base ETH, dropping USDC. 

Coinbase Commerce settled USDC but did a simple Uniseap without too much education for the user.

should have written, "use Coinbase Wallet to buy Base USDC or Base ETH from Coinbase"

The flow is somewhat scary/confusing, as the network selector is very late in the checkout, but it's easy to remember after you see it once
