We get a lot of requests for: - video / audio - better animated gifs - nicer image UX - polls - bookmarks All of these features would make Warpcast better, but none of them are going to unlock product-market fit. So we’re focused on channels since they are a new primitive. (Opportunity for other clients!)

Issue with the "opportunity for other clients" approach is that at this stage of the protocol's development, there is little incentive to build another warpcaster-like client that implements these I don't disagree with the priorities, just wondering how the UX could improve without building a new client from scratch

could you expand on why you believe there is little incentive?

Protocol isn't permissionless yet, it's still in early development (not on mainnet, not decentralized). There aren't that many users and ecosystem players compared to other protocols like Lens. It's riskier to put all your eggs in this basket if you're not Merkle Manufactory.
