took the plunge yesterday and configured zed.dev and honestly think i won't go back to VS Code/Cursor. speed is everything.

so tradeoff is speed vs AI? or am I misunderstanding?

building farcaster infra @ /neynar 🪐 | casting @ /rish

they all have fairly comparable AI offerings, so after that is speed of syntax highlighting/inspection/errors thrown after they are detected.

VS Code feels glacial with that nowadays, maybe just me?

Can't beat native apps on speed/snappiness.

hm interesting, will have to try this to know more. still on vscode
