It kinda feels like Warpcast is ready to be public by default, no account, shareable with any link. Anyone else feel this way? This is a tough-to-sell visual value prop (and is circa nearly a year ago).

We had a feed on the logged out page and it converted worse. Maybe worth revisiting.

My issue is I hesitate to share Warpcast links because they’ll be pushed to join when I just want to share the conversation. So K-factor is 0 as a power user.

All cast and profiles load as is. Only the main root has this upsell. So if you share a link to a cast — people should be able to just read with no issues.

They can read, but there is no navigation control/browse the store/liveliness. Reddit thread for comparison.

> They can read, but there is no navigation control/browse the store/liveliness Is the thought that a lot of people click to see other casts in a logged out Home / Discover feed while visiting a URL?

Yes — when users land on Warpcast through a shared link, they naturally want to explore more. They might start with Twitter hot take browsing, but users today are looking for depth of discussion. The current logged-out experience doesn't let them discover that community culture.

Twitter forces you to log in to do anything else? We used to have a discover feed logged out. Most people did not click out of the initial cast.
