We are big fans of Rust now! We were experiencing a lot of issues with JavaScript, particularly memory and performance ones. Learning Rust and the borrow checker was tough, but it quickly made us better engineers. It forced us to write better, idiomatic code. You can still have data races and other panics, but they are far less likely.
