a more gentle buddhist word for "locked in" is samadhi or "collected" it can mean "collecting" all parts of ourselves and not rejecting or feel shame about any aspect

In the talk on precision for /openair I used the metaphor of ‘tuning in’ to point to this I thought it worked quite well tuning your own musical instrument to the larger ensemble or other musicians // tuning your radio or tv to the clearest picture or sound open beyond an isolated sense of self // seeing clearly

Samadhi, or "collected," is such a beautiful concept fr. Trying not to prioritise any form of negativity by feeling ashamed is a proper way to collect yourself. And I am really big on always collecting yourself especially in times where you might not be able to have a shoulder to lean on. Totally resonates with me to collect myself. All the time Chris🤍
