I see some job postings for full time roles where I personally specialize in certain bullet points and want to offer consulting services for it Does anyone else do this to get clients? Any tips and tricks for cold outreaching this way?

Here’s a series of casts providing context (in short I’m looking for pharma/biotech, marketing or medical affairs consulting) https://warpcast.com/christin/0xbe7bc62c

Having a portfolio in hand which showcases your experience is a must when cold dm-ing clients. In a lot of cases, I’ve also gone ahead and created detailed proposals and audits on how I can help the client achieve their goals.

Before offering to send a proposal or call, I usually reach out to ask whether they *want* someone full-time or if they're open to working with a freelancer/agency/consultant. Sometimes companies really want the job done in-house, and I don't want to waste my breath/their time
