why is this visage of "modern creating" so gate kept? humans create daily in so many ways and under so many names other than "creator." if you accept that a rose by any other name smells just as sweet, why is something so common place being given such a pedestal only now and only in its noun form. this is similar to what we've done to other words and their paired concepts, such as "strategy" and "creative" and similar to other sentiments available widely re: idolatry of the innovator
