Northernlion for background noise/personality Atrioc for a counter perspective on a few things, I especially like his marketing infodumps John/Hank Greene because they are very grounding given everything that is happening. WeirdExplorer because I had no idea how many fruits are out there Extractions&Ire/Explosions&Fire + NileRed for fun chemistry content

1. with the kid: Mark Rober, songs about pi and e and lists of planets, Dude Perfect, etc. self: old Uncles content (men talking then shouting at each other about life and sports). Some exercise videos with muscular dudes and dudettes 2. educational 3. laughing with the kid; laughing to myself for multiple adults watching together, it's only shorts or movies these days, never in-between length, too hard to commit to 5-10 minutes

Straight from my YT subscriptions: True crime: 1. Bella Fiori - I love her compassionate storytelling 2. Rotten Mango - very in depth, a lot of details and cultural context Food: 1. Ann Reardon - her debunking videos are so scientific and entertaining 2. Emmymade - tries a lot of simple but interesting recipes Social commentary: 1. Mina Le - I always learn something new from her videos 2. Tiffany Ferguson - keeps me in the loop about the latest social media discourse YouTube is my go-to background noise machine, so usually I cook/clean/work with it in the background.

I'm a huge fan of Peter Santenello for chill vibe, kill tony for comedy and various other youtubers. live commentary about current events is interesting as well I like the authenticity. so much content creation is geared around planting an ad at intervals. I want to learn or feel something usually scrolling farcaster or lately tg/dexscreener lol

I only watch nonsense and permaculture videos so my taste is not applicable. While watching, I am probably casting or trading.

I admit...I don't watch much Youtube with regularity. Typically, I go there if I need something. /okbanger is probably the only stream I watch. π€· I used to watch Rick Steves travel videos (kinda liked the historical bent). Without a doubt, Mr Beast is worth studying, though. Instead though, I can answer #2 and 3 for /okbanger : 2. The topic is often what can get me to commit to watching, and I enjoy the conversations and where your minds go....philosophical and humanistic. 3. Most often, I'm working while listening. I save the tedious/low mental energy work for OKBanger time (so that I can put more attention into listening...and occasionally contributing).
