Hey /skincare! I just moved to a much dryer climate and my skin is, well, much dryer. My face in particular just seems to dry out like 10 minutes after applying lotion. What’s a gal to do that preferably won’t break the bank or take a ton of time? (Low spoons gal)

Hi! A dry climate will dehydrate your skin, this is diff than dry skin (which is a skin type). Dehydrated skin loves things like glycerin (there is a newer brand called Prequel that makes a great affordable glycerin cleanser).

Hydrate first (agree that snail mucin can work well for this) then use an occlusive (I’m not the biggest Skin Food fan but it does have occlusives) to seal it in. Hope that helps!
