Pretty sure i just had 3 people on a call trying to hack my computer. Gmeet and then zoom weren’t working for one of these VCs so they wanted me to go to a different site. Which then didn’t work (though I logged myself in before becoming suspicious) next step I presume would have been to install a package for the client… which is what the site was trying to get me to do.

Be paranoid. Format everything if you login with the same computer where your crypto is

Happened to me as well. They texted me directly on Warpcast. Then wanted to hop on a call.

Sounds like a familiar scam. Not me personally, but I heard about this one before.

Yeah I avoid calls unless I'm 100% sure the person I'm calling with is legit.

It happened to me a few months ago. They wanted me to have a chat. They send me a calendar event, but the link was not a link to zoom but their platform. I told them if we could talk over zoom or other tools and all I got was silence. Be careful.
