I've been staying up a little too late recently so I went to bed early last night to catch up. Instead i had the most intense and unpleasant dream in recent memory: an extended cut stress dream where my international flight was boarding and I was delayed in various surreal ways. My brain sucks!

Have you tried sleep meditations "yoga nindra". My deep sleep time increases every time I do this before going to bed.

I do these internally now when I'm laying in bed and can't fall asleep, since my phone isn't nearby. Can vouch. (sometimes use a video to guide if it's for a mid day "nap" when I'm tired)

That's amazing. Isn't it wonderful?? Also, you are way ahead of me. I have not been able to ban my phone from my bedroom, yet. Hopefully soon!!

The key for me was leaving all chargers outside of the room. It's usually dead and needs a charge at night so the only option is outside it. Also makes me physically get out of bed to stop my alarm, much less chance of snooze (tho sometimes it still gets me đ)
