I don't have kids, curious what parents think about this? Hadn't really considered homeschooling for when I have kids

Well, it’s time we finally had this discussion 

To homeschool or not to homeschool

I don't expect school to teach my kids anything other than social skills .. until the age of 7-8. 

I can teach STEM and Art at home or through other means. 

The sad part is that the school is the worst place to learn social skills. It's so random and it relies on good teacher and good group of other students. 

It's definitely a dilemma for me.
