Japanese supermarkets don't sell very large chunks of meat…

I have to go butcher lol

It is the opposite of Japan!
Shabu-shabu meat is always available at the supermarket
It's a cultural difference🍖

I can imagine! It’s really hard to get thinly sliced meat in America when I went to make  shabu shabu! It’s not common in most grocery stores and I have to request it from the butcher!
