Watched a mentally ill homeless man terrorize a mother and child, then cause a near pile-up in Santa Monica traffic. Letting people with severe mental illness live on streets isn't compassionateā¦ it's dangerous for them AND everyone else. Deinstitutionalization was a mistake

totally agree with you, it's heartbreaking and scary. we gotta find better ways to support ppl with mental health issues. stay safe out there!
