happy international women’s day 

it’s freaking hard to be a woman in this space. so for today, i’d like to highlight something i’ve heard a lot in web3 and tech in general 

men love to tell me about their female idols. but when i ask them why they look up to these women, they only list things that are typically seen as masculine qualities:

> they can hang/keep up with the boys
> they never show emotion or “weakness”
> they never “make a big deal” about things/are not high maintenance
> they never talk about the difficulties women face, they just keep going and never complain

i’d love to see women being celebrated more for being the people they are, not the masculine qualities they possess 

ladies, would love to see you drop a line on your favourite thing about yourself that makes you feel like you ❤️‍🔥

*we all hold masculine and feminine traits within ourselves, but i think we need to celebrate softness and emotion much more often

What makes me feel like me is I have the choice for who I want to be in this world. I'm not pigeonholed into being a teacher or a housewife, I can dream big and achieve it. 

Secondly, I love I can rest and relax. It's not a plus to be a workaholic. We gotta recharge and get ready to do our best. Or else we burn out. I don't take it for granted.
