does anyone else not like being called ser by strangers on the internet. i’m kinda ok if my friends use it to address me once in a while but absolutely not when strangers do it.

Eh, `ser` originally bothered me but that's just because the word sir spelt like `ser` is nails on a chalkboard to me eyes. Very much like the word `moist` is to other people's ears.

However, I feel it's used is good faith and a term of respect, so eh doesn't bother me too much anymore.

understandable. it didn't used to bother me much early on when it caught on in the space. it does now when complete strangers say it. it just feels very odd to me and idk why that shift happened. 😅
