chat what’s the best biography/autobiography you’ve ever read? my mum has a crazy collection of them it makes buying presents for her super easy its hard to pick but i have given 5 stars on goodreads to finding me by viola davis and down the drain by julia fox i wanna read steve jobs’s one & shoe dog too just haven’t got round to it yet and open to some recs

Acid for the Children by Flea (Yes, that flea from RHCP) Best book, not just autobiography, I’ve read in a while. Just stunningly beautiful

ooo thanks for sharing i just googled it and it looks super intriguing! i love being introduced to new experiences and perspectives that are super different from my own will add to my want to read list!

It’s also really refreshing bc it’s obvious he himself wrote it, and not a ghost writer. The prose is just very raw and honest

Indeed. Amazing guy and book, so a raw book from. I enjoyed every page and still revisit the disc of his life at the end. I am a RHCP fan and the A.Kiedis one is amazing, in a totally different vibe, but a good one. Flea's one is till the RHCP beginning, A.K. is more wide range. Full of toxic friendship, music, drugs, girls...it's a hard book. But as good as hard. Super complicated personality.
