Fraudsters leave addresses of cryptocurrency wallets and cid phrases from them in comments on YouTube as part of a new scam scheme to steal funds. This was reported by analysts at Kaspersky Lab. They found the corresponding messages under videos dedicated to finance. Pretending to be inexperienced users, the attackers ask for help in transferring cryptocurrency and post links to wallets with private keys. These addresses usually contain a large sum of money as bait for potential thieves. In one case, the wallet had a balance of over 8,000 USDT, but required a TRX fee to withdraw the cryptocurrency. This amount went to a fraudulent multisig wallet that required multiple approvals for outgoing transactions. Thus, the unscrupulous user did not get the opportunity to steal assets even after sending his own funds.
