New token issuance accelerated 12 times According to GeckoTerminal, more than 600,000 new tokens were launched in January 2025. This is 12 times more than a year ago. At this rate, the market should be ready for the emergence of about 1 billion tokens over the next five years. The large number of memecoins distracts traders' attention, which is why we do not see large alt-pumps like in previous cycles.

A recent study found that Solana apps generated 10x more revenue in 24 hours than their Ethereum counterparts. PlanB (2M subscribers) sold BTC on the exchange, bought shares of ETF funds. He justified this by the unwillingness to worry anymore about his ability to maintain control over the keys, and admitted that most likely this already publicly excludes him from BTC maxi. There are many condemnations in the comments, since in fact one of the supporters of independent storage of BTC eventually became the owner of a receipt / owner of BTC through trust in the ETF fund. Thus, he is unlikely to lose control of BTC in the event of physical damage to the cold wallet. But is the future of cryptocurrency such that holders will eventually simply migrate and centralize through the ownership of assets under the control of government agencies? There is something to think about.
