There's so many downstream effects of how terribly govs handled covid. I bought a CO2 meter and my parents think I’m crazy since I’m not high risk & can’t wrap their heads around the fact I just don’t want to get sick. I don’t blame them #thanksobama #dacc

May I ask why you measure C02 levels specifically? Your device is only measuring the 0.05% of compounds that make up our atmosphere. If you worry about air pollution, my understanding is that air consists of particles of a thousand different variations. C02 is a gas that, amongst other sources, humans exhale themselves. I would go as far as saying that C02 is the last thing to worry about in terms of air quality. Not knowing what I don't know, I might be ignorant here. Though I want to say that the stuff polluting our air in cities, to my knowledge, is not so much one single gas, but all of the micro particles of all kinds of compounds that retail devices do not measure. I think we often do not even know what harmful particles float around in our air.

I see. Some years ago the topic of "Feinstaub" was super big in Germany, which is a non technical term summarizing all of the crap that pollutes our air. The root of the problem is fundamentally the same as with "micro plastic". E.g. every car that drives on rubber tires produces micro particles that end up in the air as a result of friction happening during driving between rubber and road. There are thousands of those processes happening everywhere all the time that actually pollute the air to some extent. Now, I don't have a solution. But I think measuring one single thing alone doesn't help unless there is a concrete medical reason. If you are worried about air pollution you have to wear a proper mask and filter your air inside in some proper way.
